Brambleberry Jam

I got a package in the mail from England on Tuesday. It was from a college classmate named Erin. We have recently become reconnected and started writing emails. In one email, she told me she was going to try to make brambleberry jam. (Brambleberries are like raspberries or blackberries.) She said she was going to send me some of the end product. And she did! I had some on bread last night, and I’ll have some for breakfast today. It’s good! I actually got two jars. The other one is brambleberry and apple. She said the brambleberries don’t have enough pectin to thicken the jam, so the apples help. I’ll open that jar when I’m finished with the first one.

    Brambles, eh? Sounds fishy to me…..like it will harm you in some way…..

    Anyway, as the snobby owner of a _New_ refrigerator, let me chastise you for having something spelled ‘Wip’ in your fridge, as well as something that apparently goes great with Radish!
