Thursday and Friday the Middle School will be closed, because almost all the teachers are going to the National Middle School Association conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Woo hoo! …or maybe I should have said Yee haa! You can read about the conference here.
It should be a lot of fun. Right now I have trouble thinking about it because today is a chapel day and it’s the day after Halloween and it’s the last day before a long weekend. The kids are going to be CRAZY!
I may not be able to post until Saturday night when I get back. I’m taking my camera so I can take pictures of interesting things along the way.
Here’s hoping we don’t go down in flames-

Oh, and eat at the NASCAR cafe if you can. It’s good food, and most interesting atmosphere (especially if you aren’t a NASCAR fan). And, if you do go there, feel free to say, “yea, Jimmie Johnson is my favorite driver – hope he can beat out Kenseth for the cup.” It’ll make you a hit with the locals.
