Catch Up Time

I got up yesterday at my regular time and went in to school. I assigned a chapel writing project that takes forever to grade. I ended up staying until noon. Five hours saw the job done! I drank a whole pot of coffee. It kept me going, but whew! The caffeine high had me shaking like a junkie. I ended up with a bad headache and a crash later in the day. I’m going in today again to clean up my room a little and grade some smaller stuff.

When I grade in my room, I sit at student desks.
Rockin out to Manheim Steamroller Christmas music.

This is why I don’t sit at my desk: no room to work, and a computer that constantly beckons…
A clean desk is a sign of a sick mind.

Hey . . . .why aren’t you using one of your new & improved mugs to kill yourself with all that coffee?

  2. Lauren says:

Again I have to say – I LOVE these kinds of pictures! It only brings me joy to see that other people also have difficulties keeping life’s nonsense in order.

    Some questions:
Do you have vacation food for your fish or will you let them fend for themselves?
Do you keep a coffeepot in your room or do you get it from the lounge?
Do you keep the Ned pictures up for the children, or are they just there to inspire you?

  3. Brad says:

Peggy: I took all the mugs home so I could take a picture of them. I haven’t gotten any of them back to school yet.

    Lauren:
    1. The fish can go more than two weeks without food. I don’t make special arrangements for them. (Though sometimes elves come in and feed them. I haven’t stomped out the elf population at school yet.)

    2. I use the lounge coffeepot. Despite my postings here, I really don’t drink coffee that often.

    3. The Ned pictures are for the kids. I’m hoping the pictures distract them and keep them from misbehaving.

  4. Lloyd says:

I should try that. Can you bring me some pictures of Ned?
