Lloyd and Lauren’s internet isn’t working! It stopped yesterday around 8am. No internet?!? How can we survive? How do you make a Manhattan? What is the theme music for the 1931 movie “Dracula”? What will the weather be like in Colorado this weekend? Where else can we find such answers but the internet? How will I check my email every 15 minutes?
Fortunately, I’m able to come over to my sister’s house to post.

The guy came over to check the internet connection today and was able to determine that the problem was not in Lauren and Lloyd’s house, but rather outside somewhere. He spent several hours in the cold rain up on the electrical poles, but could not locate the problem. He will come back on Monday.
In the meantime, the modem has only two lights. If the connection were working, there would be three. The modem is the black box on top.
Thankfully, here at your sister Beth’s house, the Internet is alive and well. I am pleased to report that Philip Glass recorded a soundtrack for the 1931 Dracula move (largely musicless) in 1991. God bless the internet, and God bless the guy who toiled in the cold rain to try to fix our internet connection.
