Well, I had to go to Nebraska to see it, but yesterday brought my first snow of the season. It was there when I woke up: a small coating of snow and ice. It was a nice way to end 2006. After church, I stayed inside most of the day, just being lazy. New Year’s Eve was spent at Harold and Beth’s house with fondue and some board games.

(Picking up someone from my church early last night from the airport, I could have sworn I smelt snow in the air . . . turned out to be just stupid rain. Usually my nose never fails me.)
