There’s nothing like the satisfaction of taking a load of junk to the dump. Yesterday I decided to finally take the latest kitchen-remodel trash to the dump. It consisted mostly of countertop end pieces. I also threw away various and sundry pieces of junk from the basement. It was very cleansing.
Some of the basement stuff was still useable, so I took that to The Salvation Army. The donation area around back was closed. So I took the stuff to Goodwill. They don’t accept furniture, so I couldn’t take the chair I wanted to get rid of. Why do they make it so hard to donate stuff? Do they want me to throw it away? What would the environmentalists say?

Mostly, it’s nice to see the pretty side of your truck
. And, I’m glad your post wasn’t about another kind of dump…I mean, I can post about barfing and even include a picture, but the line has to be drawn somewhere!
Ha! I took the picture from this angle on purpose. I’m glad you noticed I was showing the nice side.
And I have to say, I re-wrote this text several times before posting it. My first drafts were full of toilet humor. There are all kinds of double entendre possibilities here. But I decided to take the high road.
First of all, to Beth I say, “Ha!! You funny!”
Next, this picture is GREAT! I’m wondering if I should spend today getting rid of stuff, too. It’s inspiring!
I’m impressed with your ability to purge considering you raid trashcans during locker cleanouts and pick up things from the hallway floors after school hours. Very good Brad. That’s what I call a productive day.
Holy Moly .. . I can only assume that line of cars is for the Grand Opening of your new Hawiaan Spa … did my invitation get lost in the mail?
(very funny Beth … come on Brad, we want to read the 1st drafts too)
