Stir Crazy

So when an extended period of time off is planned, I’m okay with it. I take a trip or I plan a project. I’ve been off for almost a week now and I feel like I’ve wasted vast amounts of time. Today I’m off AGAIN! I’m getting a little stir crazy. Yesterday I started looking for house stuff to do. I had previously been to IKEA to get something for the kitchen. Yesterday I installed it. Can you guess what I’ll use it for? I’ll tell at the end.

Whats this for?

I decided to clean the wood floors downstairs. That always takes a while and I had the energy for it. What’s so nice about it is that there is a domino effect. Cleaning the floor means first cleaning the room out and taking care of odd things that have stacked up here and there. After I sweep the floor I use OrangeGlo. I like it because it makes the floor shiny and it smells nice and because Billy Mays sells it. I would buy anything from that guy.

Shiny and orangey!

Did you guess what I would use that rack for under my sink? It’s a plastic grocery bag holder!

Ta Da!

I’m also glad to see that you have taken the Christmas table cloth off your dining room and replaced it with a less specific cloth.

You’re so weird – I would have never thought to use a pot lid rack for bags.
By the way – that floor is so shiny, I can see myself! :) I’ll bet Ned can too – maybe he will think there’s another hairless cat in the house.

I just noticed the time was messed up. I guess I didn’t change it when the time change happened? It was recording an hour later than Eastern Time. I fixed it now. I have also changed the timestamp on the two previous comments to reflect the real time they were posted.

I can’t wait to see it at Christmastime with lights on it!

Enough with the projects already, and by that I mean actually accomplishing a perceived project … although pending out-of-town guests are probably the real driving force here, right? …right? whew,I feel much better now …
