Spring break is the time I have usually gone on trips to unusual destinations. In the past I’ve gone to Florida, Seattle, and even St. Maarten. This year, the destination is Amsterdam. Denis went on the trip to St. Maarten with me. It was nice to split expenses. He was interested in doing a European trip of some kind, so he went searching. Amsterdam was a less expensive destination, so that’s where we’re going.
I’m interested in checking out the flower bulbs of course. I think I’ll be a little early for tulips, but the hyacinths should be in full bloom. The Ten Boom house is in nearby Haarlem. I do the story of “The Hiding Place” every year in Religion class. And, of course, I’ll have to be on the lookout for Bløf.
I’ll be there the Tuesday after Easter and stay until Sunday. Woo hoo!

Yesterday’s Lenten Chore: Unload the dishwasher.
Cool!! You’ll have to go to the Keukenhof – you should be there just as all the bulbs are peaking! I’m jealous!

Great. It’s just like you’re going to the world’s largest IKEA. (I know it’s not Sweden, but you get the point.)
It is too close to Easter Break, and I can’t talk nice right now, so I won’t post the evil thoughts I am thinking about you. Instead, I will tell you in person.
You just posted that so we would all be envious and tell you how cool you are for going great places. I hate you a little for that.
Achtersteven hoofd!
