Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

The Kitchen

These are by no means “after” pictures, and the countertops are still messy because “straighten the kitchen” was not on the list of things to do before I left, but here are some pictures of the kitchen:

Of course, you’ve seen the refrigerator already.
North.

Note the raspberry liquour on the counter still. It’s good with crushed ice.
East.

I forgot to turn on the microwave hood light to showcase its usefulness.
South.

I'm thinking about this already.

A plant that I’m quite proud of hangs on the “west” wall. It’s a staghorn fern.

In the East picture, just for a moment, I thought ET might be in your kitchen…and then I saw the South picture.

Also, nice crash picture. The experts say that the last moments of a plane crash are usually very calm as everyone awaits their certain death…just in case that makes you feel any better.

    See you in Omaha! 😀

Now you can die with no regrets.

I LAUGHED OUT LOUD at the picture of the plane thrown in!!! Perfect!!!

(I think it’s time for you to get your own TV show)

I never noticed the fancy light over the sink – very hip, very cool! You might start a new trend.

Beth – it took me a while to find the ET thing – ha! 🙂 That’s funny!

Your kitchen really IS beautiful, Brad – I just “got” that the new ‘frig is on the opposite wall from where the original had been, ja? No problem with running the plumbing there, or was that already accessible for the ice maker or are you just an LPG (Local Plumbing Genius)? Seriously, you can feel very good about this. Now, remind me – when did you say you were beginning work in mine again?

By now I assume you landed safely somewhere in or near Nebraska. Once you recollect all the clothing from the sprung-open suitcase after the plane landed rapidly and without landing wheels out and…..what? You mean none of that really happened?! Wow – all that drama for nothing…imagine.

ENJOY FAMILY TIME, NEIGHBOR!! Miss you…
