Sorry for another Ned post everybody, but if this is going to be my memory archive, I have to bring closure to this memory.
Here’s his last photo. Ned was such a ham for the camera, he still had to look all dramatic for this picture at the vets.

I buried him in my back yard under the ginkgo tree because, as I said to my students yesterday, ginkgo trees are kind of strange and so was Ned. The tree will be a good marker because it’s long-lived and will grow quite large.

Lauren wrote and recorded an awesome musical eulogy. Listen to it HERE.
He does look dramatic in that picture! The green blanket really intensifies his look. Good-bye, Ned. You were the best hairless cat I ever knew!
I’m sure he’s very happy to be with the bunnies.
Great, now I’m crying again. So sad.
Really sorry to hear about Ned.
With how loved he was, I’m sure kitty-heaven won’t be that much different.
…except he’ll have fur.
Lauren, your song was heartfelt and beautiful. Now all I can think is “Ned, Ned, Ned”.
bye Ned
I prefer … Regal tree … regal cat.
Yes, Ned did always capture the look of the classic movie stars. He’s looking particularly Yule Brynner-ish to me in this photo.
” You will order the finest gold chopsticks.”
Bye, Ned … Ned … Ned!
*sniff*
What! OMG! I just returned from Fringe NYC and am getting caught up on things way after the fact. I am just now seeing all the Ned blogs.
Brad, as an serious lover of all animals with a special place in my heart for cats- I can empathize completely. I KNOW how hard loss is. I have experienced it many times, particularily with my dear cats. I am so sorry you have had to do this and I am hear for you if you want to talk.
Long live Ned’s spirit! R.I.P. i HEART NED!!!!!
