		<description>It was the roots of the yucca.  They are starchy like potatoes, but are sort of sweet.  They served them with a brown sugar sauce.  I think the yucca was just an excuse to eat the sauce.  It was awesome!

Upon doing some research, this may have been cassava root, sometimes called yucca or yuca, but not the popular US garden plant.  I learned something new today, and it&#039;s not even 6am!</description>
