Great Thirty-Eight

Yesterday’s birthday was an awesome one. Peggy stayed late on Thursday and decorated my room, so everyone knew it was my birthday. The kids were saying it to me all day long. Some kid wrote something on my chalkboard in the morning, so everyone else wanted to write something, too. By the end of the day, it was a giant, messy, sweet Birthday card.

You gotta love Middle Schoolers.

My co-workers gave me a bunch of awesome gifts, including candy, stickers, and a Latin/English dictionary. They also took a collection to help me get Ned II. I haven’t posted about it, but I’ve been contacting cat breeders to get on their waiting lists for another hairless cat. I hope to get one by summer, so I’m saving up. This gift from my friends will help a lot. Thanks, friends! I did have to solve the puzzle maze to get to the money though. That was Peggy’s idea. thanks, peggy.

Superman rocks!

After school, I had scheduled a Birthday massage. It was really good. I will probably be going to this guy again, so I’ll talk more about him then. I was too chicken to take my camera into his office, so I just took a picture of the outside. It’s in a high-rise apartment building in the Mt. Washington area of Baltimore. Pretty nice.

Mmm... Massage...

When I got home, I tried on the slippers Peggy gave me. They’re awesome! It’s like jamming my feet into two bunny carcasses and skating around in them.

Finally! A good use for bunnies!

Denis added to my ring collection by giving me this supercool stainless steel ring he got at the cart in the mall. He saw me covet it. Yay for coveting!

Holey ring, Batman!

The cherry on top is an email from my nephew Daniel. I am honored to be the recipient of his first email ever! Awesome!

Just so everyone knows, Brad cheated getting the money out.

Yea, I was there (eating some of the excellent chocolate birthday cake, by the way) watching him with the crow bar, jack hammer, explosives and other incendiaries trying to extricate the pictures of presidents within………actually….the man is quite dextrous (is that a word? I know its origin is in that new dictionary you have, Brad) and may have broken a land speed record for maze-mastery. Very disheartening for the rest of us out there……

That sounds like the best birthday ever! You should stop having them so you won’t be disappointed next year.

Is that your face on the Superman card? It looks an awful lot like you. (Are you Superman?)
