Smarter

I think Max is smarter than Ned was. His playing seems to show some thinking skills. It surprises me a little, actually. I got used to sweet, stupid Ned. I don’t think Max is any kind of genius, but he’s definitely ahead of Ned. (Which maybe isn’t saying much.)

But his adequate brain power is hampered by above average clumsiness. He often crashes into walls and tables. Last night he ran into the rack that stores my Xbox games and knocked stuff on the floor. He ran away at first, but then came back to see what fell.

Here is what he got into yesterday morning while I was getting ready for school:

Do you need some toilet paper?

Oh, naughty Max! It looks like loads & loads of fun, but it’s just a big mess!

  2. Lauren says:

Maybe he needed that for a spill that you don’t know about.

  3. Lloyd says:

I think he was planning on hacking up a hairball into that later… Oh, wait.

    Let’s see…

    Mischievous.
    Clumsy.
    Rowdy.
    Curious.

I think he sounds like a 14 month old boy. All boy.

Think he sounds like your average Middle School boy actually…

Way to go, Maxeroni! Way to keep the human on his toes. Be sure you conclude each demonstration of your brilliance with that innocent “What ever do you mean” look, too.

  5. Michele says:

“Who? Me? I don’t know what you’re talking about! It must have been Denis. Yes, I think it was him.”

  6. Peggy says:

Make him stand closer next time Max.

  7. Kim says:

Hi Max! Too Cute! If this is the worst damage he does…consider yourself lucky!

  8. Carol says:

Sure wish we’d had Max’s playfulness and good thinking skills on our afternoon walk today. Is he a good “mouser”, Brad? How large could those “mice” get then…?
