My favorite computer game is available in a new version. It’s called Peggle Nights. Of course I had to get it. It has a whole new set of levels, plus a new character with new powers to help you win.
Since I am a Peggle Grand Master, it didn’t take me long to conquer the basic levels. The challenge levels will take hours and hours of playing to win. Yay! I have a whole winter’s worth of entertainment!
I wasn’t fast enough to get a picture of the screen that said “Congratulations, Brad!”, but in the picture below you can see the trophy I won.

Yay for new games! Yay for virtual trophies!
John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John: “Those Peh-heh-gle NAAAAAAAAAAA-IIIIIIGGGGHHHHHHTTTTA!” chorusPlay some more! Play some more-ore-oooooore!!”
Happy Winter!
Dang. I really messed that up.
You should see about getting a virtual mantle for all of your virtual trophies.
I wonder if you could do that in Second Life. Just don’t get involved with all of that creepy stuff.
Say, does anyone know how the financial crisis is affecting virtual worlds?
I’ll have to take a picture of the “Congratulations” screen next time I win Spider Solitare with 4 suits. I do a little happy dance inside, because no one in my family realizes just what I have accomplished, nor do they care. At least Brad understands my joy.
So Brad, at what age will we be considered adults?
Wow! Win with 4 in spider solitaire? Awesome! Did you know that franklin roosevelt really liked that game?
I had no idea about Frankie! I started playing it this summer on my laptop during long car rides (when I wasn’t driving.) After I got bored with regular solitare my kids turned me on to spider. After winning the first two levels several times, I got bored so I tried the 4-suit level. I’ve won about 4 times so far. It’s my way of unwinding after a long day at school.
What? How come I don’t know anything about this? Solitaire is the only kind of cards I like, being a hermit and all.
