Speaking of tissue, I’ve been really low on toilet paper for the last couple of days. Over the weekend, I tried to buy some new, but I couldn’t find my brand, Angel Soft. The shelves at Target were empty of it. So were the shelves at Safeway. Was there some kind of sale going on? Had Angel Soft suddenly become the most popular kind of toilet paper? I was getting a little worried. Lloyd and Lauren can attest to the fact that I’m pretty loyal to Angel Soft. I have my own supply at their house.
Yesterday I finally found some at Giant. Whew! Changing to another brand would have been expensive and time consuming. I have my precious, precious Angel Soft.

I like how the package offers you some math problems, as well. I appreciate a tissue that takes care of my mind as well as my behind.
We saw a brand of toilet paper in the store called ‘Panda’. Really? Panda?
I just bought a package of Panda because it was cheep, and I’m about to loose my job so I thought I should start saving. I’ll let you know how it goes. A Panda on my bum!
You could some to Nebraska. We always have a shortage of music teachers around here.
Email me and we can talk…it’s about time to think about moving.
“…mind…behind” HA! You should apply at Hallmark, kiddo.
We used to always buy angel soft! And then Sams stopped carrying it… and now our second choice doesn’t seem to be there either! We had to buy some super-thick stuff that runs out in like half a day. Maybe I’ll check out Giant for some Angel Soft… but won’t it be more expensive? And do I really want to go to several stores just to get tp?
When you can find it, A.S. (hmmm…”don’t go there now, Carol!”) is usually competitively priced, and coupons seem plentiful (if you do coupons). The Freys are also fans of this brand, but sadly our guest bathroom holder does not allow the double roll – single roll multi-packs may be the challenge to find on occasion. Happy hunting!
I’m loyal to White Cloud. We had a stint here in town where everyone was out of it, and I had to get something different. I got Charmin Basic. I didn’t switch to Charmin Basic permanently, but I do recommend it in a desperate situation. It’s not crazy thick, and not scratchy. Just basic. Thus the name.
Still I like White Cloud best. It’s quite similar to Angel Soft…just in case you ever need a back-up.
First Brad – these last two posts make me worry about your social life! This is getting downright boring!
BUTT, while we are on the subject – we get the one with a baby on the front and we buy in bulk at BJs – the place where Brad gets his Carnation. It suits me just fine, but I’m not that particular with what I’m using – I just do my business and get on with the day.
ummm, you misspelled but.
We’re a Northern household. And I happily buy it 250,000 rolls at a time at Sams. Along with my 50 gallon drum of pickles, and my 2500 lb bag of sugar.
You know the shortage of product on the shelf has hit CA too. I went to the store the other day and the shelves were almost empty. Are we really that bad off economically? Are the trucks breaking down?
Dang…I don’t see the picture at 1st, I have to scroll down, so by the title I was expecting a post about food…before digestion hits.

Even though I just ate, I now have an “inexplicable” urge to go to a Cinnabon….thanks, Pegster…I think.
