When my parents were here for Thanksgiving I got a futon mattress out of the basement and used it in my computer room. It’s quite comfortable. I slept well. After my parents left, I put the mattress in the hallway by the bathroom door, thinking that if I saw it each day I’d be reminded to put it away.
Yesterday I finally put it away.
I also finally took down my Christmas decorations and finally saw Twilight. I don’t think there’s much left to do now. I can die with no regrets.

That is also a nice shot of the reason you are getting a new roof.
Holy catfish.
Yeah – sheesh!
How could you even notice the ceiling with that distracting lampshade in the way?
It’s nice that it has a black cover on it. Was it a little like encountering the monolith in 2001 every time you came out of the bathroom?
With a black cover don’t you end up with cat hair all over?
Heh…I almost saw “Twilight” yesterday because I’ve been wanting to see it again, I came this close…I saw “Gran Torino” instead.
And I almost put my Christmas decorations away…whew, that was a very close call.
And I love that the futton has been in your hallway since Thanksgiving…
So how did you like “Twilight”? Didn’t you just melt when they danced at the end?
You need some pictures or something for your hallway walls. This photo could double for a prisoner’s last shot before the walk to the gas chamber, you know?
…and we almost saw “Hotel for Dogs” today but instead came home after church/meeting/lunch/shopping so I could impersonate my father-in-law (i.g., rest my eyes in the recliner a bit while trying to read…). There’s always tomorrow. Or Tuesday (he he)…
