I had fun shopping for Peggy’s birthday. I was hoping to find something that had a label on it saying: “As seen on TV”. I saw a “Pasta Express”, but it didn’t seem quite fun enough. Then I saw the ShamWow. There would be no end to the fun she could have with that!
It seems like I’ve been having a lot of conversations about the ShamWow lately, so it was funny that I would see it for sale. I was on lunch duty during Peggy’s birthday party, so I didn’t see her open the box, but I got to see the actual ShamWows later in the day. In fact, Peggy gave me a big one and a small one. Yay!
I’m going to try to re-create the demonstrations on the commercials because I’m something of a ShamWow skeptic, especially when it comes to that carpet demonstration. I have some scrap carpeting in my basement so it should be easy to reproduce. But I can’t do it today. Our wrestling boys are participating in a genuine all-day wrestling tournament. Woo hoo! Go Saints!

We, too, have referenced the Sham-wow guy lately in Public Speaking class. He’s a popular dude, it appears! Not that everyone wants to look or speak as he does, mind ya’, but he does leave an impression.
