Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Couch Company

I took another sick day yesterday. Sort of. I didn’t sing in choir in the morning, and I excused myself from being liturgist at church. I sat in the back and fell asleep during the sermon, even though I was taking notes. I’ve been having difficulty deciding if I’m fatigued from sickness, or if my mind is telling my body I have a perfectly good excuse for being lazy.

I did go to school to get some grading done, so I accomplished something yesterday. Oh, and I had to go to the grocery store. I had apples and dip for dinner. Mmm… peanut butter and brown sugar apple dip…

Anyway, whenever I was home, I was on the couch again. Max was happy to join me.

There was a fingerprint on the lens, so this picture is all fuzzy.

I held the camera forever waiting for this... and then it was blurry.

Poor sick Brad. Nice living water bottle. 🙂

I’m glad the apple dip worked out! Did you go with sour cream or cream cheese?

    • Brad

Thanks for the phone consultation. The sour cream was less unhealthy. I’m not a big cream cheese fan anyway.

You’re quite welcome. I actually have some sour cream in my fridge that I need to get rid of. Apple dip, here I come!!

        • Brad

          1 Cup Sour Cream
          1/2 Cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
          3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
          1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Try not to eat it with a spoon. But if you do, that’s okay. You made it with sour cream instead of cream cheese. It has less fat and less calories. It’s practically health food.

You better not get that cat sick!
This faculty can’t afford another sick cat (wink!)

      HA! Gotcha there….

But seriously, how has Max been faring during this unseasonably pleasant (translation “too cold for a naked cat”) spring we’ve been having? Does he have thermal undies or something?

  3. Lloyd

Max’s ears are very clean (well, compared to mine).

Those pictures are adorable!! I can barely stand it!

Feel free to get sick more often if it means more Max cuteness to share.

I think it’s the algae water you drank all last year. Are you drinking out of a clean bottle now?

Did you say the first snapshot was “fuzzy”? It was clearer on my end than most – and we know you weren’t commenting on somebody’s non-existent fur there. Interesting…

[Cute sleepy kitty…he’s a bad influence…I feel a nap attack coming on now…]

Thanks for explaining the fingerprint. I thought it was something paranormal.
