Shopping for Necessaries

I’ve gotten some shopping done this weekend. I got new toilet guts for the downstairs toilet and installed them. No more taking off the lid and lifting the little thingy to make the water stop running! I also needed to get a new handle for the upstairs toilet. The old one was hanging loosely from the tank. They sell fancy handles at the home improvement store, so I got one. It’s white porcelain to match my sink and tub handles.

I's got a fancy flusher now.

Lately it seems like I run out of clean underwear too quickly, so I also got some new underwear. My favorite brand is Hanes with the ComfortSoft waistband. It’s like wearing a cloud. There was a new sticker on the package this time. It made me giggle, but I guess I’m glad they’re taking the problem seriously.

Do they just take your word for it?

Congratulations on overcoming that slavery to laziness and fixing the toilet(s)! I, for one, will now rest easier should I have, say, car trouble anywhere in your neighborhood, stop in to use the phone, and need to also use the rest room…

As for the Hanes underwear, does this make them now “wedgie-proof”, too? I imagine many a middle school boy would be relieved to hear/read/know if it did…

AND you got grades posted to Edline this weekend – good boy! 🙂 (I got an email about Casey’s Religion grade being updated.)
I’m proud of your accomplishments and assuming that you are feeling MUCH better – yeah! I’m getting lots done as well, but my list seems to grow every time I cross something off!

Wow – I’m quite impressed with your accomplishments! I have a list of things to do, but none as impressive as toilet surgery.

(Sorry to learn about your most recent challenge…I admire your strength & willingness to share your experience with others. I’m sure your post will touch millions, giving them hope & the knowledge they need not feel ashamed.)

Just in case this is helpful:

Thanks for going where no one else was brave enough to, Pegster…
