Seward Day of Fun

Yesterday was a Seward day of fun. I started the day by sleeping late. Lloyd and Lauren had been up for hours by the time I came downstairs. But surprise! They had gotten donuts! I sat around for a while before showering. It was awesome.

At 11:30am, I went to my parents’ house. I was going to help my dad babysit Tara and Tim. We went to McDonald’s, then hung out and watched several episodes of “Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!” and some “Wonderpets” as well. If you want to know what those shows are go HERE. Make sure your computer sound is on.

In the evening, there was a Concordia football game. Before the game, there was a fan appreciation event, complete with bounce houses and picnic food. I was most excited about the rice crispy bars. They had that marshmallowy, buttery goo on the bottom. Delicious!

Mmmm... so good...

I only stayed until halftime of the game because I needed to prepare for my trip home. I found out later that Concordia lost. Dang. My plane leaves/left at 7:05am from Omaha! That means leaving Seward at 4am! Yikes!

At least if this happens I'll probably be sleeping.

Your visits are like Halley’s comet. We await them anxiously for long periods of time, then you arrive and it’s a glorious time together that ends in a blaze of ….er….

Have a safe trip home. 🙂

It ends in a hour of sitting on the plane on the runway because Chicago is foggy. Again.

Why on earth do we keep sending planes to Chicago? It wrecks the flight schedules of the entire country.

(Sorry Brad. But at least it’s post fodder.)

Hey! Some of us like the Chicago fog! 😉

And they keep sending planes here because the mob bosses have demanded that it keep happening. You laugh, but corruption still runs rampant around here. It’s just quieter than when Al Capone was in charge.

We had crazy fog driving in this morning night. It was scary – I thought we would hit a vampire or something.
