My banana trees are bigger than they’ve ever been. The wet summer was good to them. I’m using a banana leaf in chapel today, so I wanted to show a picture of me standing next to the trees. They’re truly gigantic, so I had to post a picture here too.
I’m showing the giant banana leaf and a tiny sedum leaf and talking about differences between people. The first part of Romans 15 is the text. It should be fun to drag a leaf to school. I didn’t want to cut it yesterday and let it get all dried out, so I’ll be going out in the dark this morning to cut it. I hope I don’t scare Yard Cat too badly.

Holy. Crap.
At first glance, I didn’t see you. Then you said you were in the picture and the world changed drastically in a matter of moments. You became Tiny Brad.
I too was not expecting that miniature Brad in the photo. Nice job with the tree. Now, on the other end of the spectrum, I do not appreciate the use of any arbitrary coin for scale. If you keep this up, what will be the standard? “Junk found in Brad’s pocket”? MIght we get some lint for scale next? Perhaps a toad?
Good one, Lloyd!
Seriously?! At first I thought you had photo-shopped yourself into that picture. That is a huge tree! I can’t wait to see you scale it to get your bananas.
You are smaller than a penny! I never knew!
hehe…Hi Kiew, how’ve you been?
oops, Hi Kiwe
I’ve always been amazed by that tree!! Too cool!! But now you got me wondering…am I a banana leaf or a sedum leaf?
It depends … do you retain water like a sedum leaf or are you dried up like a banana tree leaf?
I thought you were the banana?!
Rats! I had to go to US chapel today ‘cuz it’s Day 1 and I’d have 9-10 graders right afterward. While Kevin’s message was a good one, and I sat WAY up top in the bleachers so nobody could talk behind me and disturb my worship…..I still missed not being in MS chapel. Can you give me a 25-words-or-less summary sometime soon? Not that I want any special privileges now that my teaching day is only 1/7 MS or anything…sniffle…
I still think it’s a “mini-me” a.k.a. “mini-Brad”!
