Catch Up

My visiting family members all made it back to Seward safely. My mom was sick to her stomach since the time she woke up, and the kids had to sit still for hours in airplanes and the car, and my dad almost didn’t make the connecting flight, but it all worked out in the end. I’m glad they’re safe, but I miss them already.

I had gotten a little behind on my TV watching, so I spent the morning watching DVR-ed shows. I took a break to get a memory card for my camera. They were still on sale at Best Buy. I got a card that holds 800+ pictures for $10. Pretty good. I also went to Lowe’s and got birdseed.

When I returned home, I watched more TV. I’m finally caught up. Fortunately, Thanksgiving disrupted some of my regularly scheduled programs, cutting three hours away from my DVR list. Whew!

Today, it’s back to work at school. If there’s any free time, maybe I’ll just watch TV or something. Ha!

The first picture ever taken with my new camera. I know - not too exciting.

Sounds like an excellent way to spend your Saturday – except for your mom being sick. Was it The Sickness that Tara and Tim had?

Great deal on the memory card! That guy in the picture seems to think you could have done better, though.

What’s wrong with that guys arm in the picture…it looks like its made of rubber…or is that some kind of trick photography with your new camera?

Glad you got the chore of all that TV watching completed before you started back to work. That would have been a terrible burden hanging over your head. (I’m being serious)

Oh, so the memory card came from store A while the birdseed from store B. I see. Much more logical.

I know what you mean. I love the DVR – until I realize we have saved so many episodes of NCIS and our “soaps” that less than 80% of the recordable memory remains. I need several snow days now to get caught up!

    (…resuming ritual sacrificing now…)
