Quick Lunch

This year for lunch at school I mostly just drink Carnation Instant Breakfast. It takes far less time than more conventional lunches and it’s easy to pack. I drink three packages and use less milk than is called for. My meal ends up being around 600 calories, which isn’t too bad. A 400 calorie Healthy Choice frozen dinner would be more healthy, but it would cost more and take a long time to heat in the microwave. Mixing and gulping Carnation takes less than five minutes. Then I can get back to trying to stay ahead of my schoolwork.

I need about a cup and a half of milk for my lunch. My favorite container is a Tupperware thing Beth gave me. She gave it to me for some other use, but I can’t remember now what that was. It makes a great milk holder. When I forget it at school, I have several back-ups. In the picture below, they’re assembled behind the Tupperware cup. The colorful cup to the right is what I take to school to mix my Carnation in. I got it at a KFC in St. Maarten. It’s fun to use such an exotic cup for my lunch every day. It’s like I’m having lunch in the Caribbean. :)

Ja, mon, you be havin’ some chicken from the Colonel?

Look at all those different containers! I think you should challenge yourself to mix and drink Carnation out of every vessel in your kitchen. Start with that crock-pot thing in the sink, please?

Gravy. That’s what I was thinking.

But, I mix my Morning Frappaccino in mine every day. And it takes a cup and a half of milk also. What are we? Related?

How long do you leave those up there?! (Reference yesterday’s post about a certain feline on the kitchen counters, and now that milk is involved…I see trouble a’brewin’!)
