Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Christmas in March

In the middle school workroom, we teachers have a set of paper trays with our names on them. We used to use them a lot, but they aren’t really used that often this year. Still, I check mine every once in a while. Yesterday I noticed something stuck in the back.

The bottom tray is mine. See that paper peeking out?

It was a Christmas gift from a student! He gave me a gift card from Barnes & Noble. Cool! Was this card hiding in my box since Christmas, or was the card lost for a while in the student’s locker and he only recently slipped into my box? Either way, it was a wonderful surprise. Merry Christmas, everyone!

God bless us, every one. You are like a present magnet!

My box at school is jam-packed full because that’s the only place I can reliable store something so I can find it again later.

    That’s all.

No really, that’s fantastic! (can you feel my jealousy just oozing your way?)
