BK Minis

I’ve been seeing commercials for a new mini burger at Burger King. Being a fan of Krystal burgers and of White Castle, I was hoping these BK minis would also be good.

I normally get two cheeseburgers, no fries, and Coke when I go to Burger King. Four minis seemed just right.
Cute little burgers.

But then I opened them.
What the what?

Yuck. They were dry and sloppily thrown together and gross-looking. They each had a speckle of ketchup and a pickle and nothing else. And the meats are connected! It’s like a big burger that was stamped with a cookie cutter, then dried out, then put in a box and shaken. I won’t be getting these again.

Bleh! That does look nasty – very different from the beautiful ones on their website. 🙁

You, however, get full points for saying ‘speckle of ketchup’. 🙂

HAHAHAHA! Sorry, but I burst out a laugh when I scrolled down & saw the 2nd picture. Indeed, what are they thinking. I don’t blame you for resolving to never get these Siamese Sliders ever again!

(btw: when I 1st saw the title, I read bikinis)

      HA! I read “bikinis” too!

And then was completely grossed out by the picture. Burger King in general does not rate high with me. Good for you for trying.

Burger King has two things going for it: (1) The Home of the Whopper and (2) ICEEs.

…and whatever happened to the Mocha BK iced coffee beverage, I wunna know?! It doesn’t seem to be an option out here any more – not that I should be drinking them anyway.

Yea…they used to do am slider thingies with egg and bacon or sausage in the same cookie-cutter format so’s ya’ pretty much had to get them by fours because that’s how they came off the grill, etc. Economical for them – yucky for everyone else.
