A List

I had lunch supervision duty yesterday and found a mysterious list on the floor. It’s very small. The left side is about the size of a quarter. I have no idea what it could be. What’s interesting is that under certain circumstances, this list could have been generated by me. Is it a message from myself? What do the colors mean?

Not in alphabetical order.

Dang it all! That is so intriguing!! Surely it must be part of some game, but it is roll-the-die or spinner? What colors are James Bond and Lord of the Blank? What is the blank?? This is going to kill me.

  2. Lloyd says:

You have to find out what this mean.

  3. Peggy says:

Search for more pieces, search for more pieces today!

I’ll take the blue dots: There is no wind or air on Mars, and I presume no desk as well.

  4. Carol says:

OK, thanks for giving me something to do with all my unscheduled time today. I see the relationship between the green dots and between the red dots, but the four blue dots – this is quite the mystery! (I’m going to guess that James Bond might have had a red ot at one time…? And Maybe even Lord of the Blank?!)

Is there any chance this was just a random list purposefully discarded by young adolescents merely to drive rational beings insane over time? In fact, I think I hear them sniggering now. (What a great word – “sniggering”. Sounds like I just defamed a racial group, though…)

  5. Brad says:

It HAS to be “Lord of the Rings”, right? I mean, that’s what I would write.

The only other possibilities that occur to me are:
    Lord of the Flies
    Lord of the Manor
    Lord of the Dance

  6. Brad says:

Well, I just asked the 10th grade student who I thought dropped it. He said he didn’t know what it was. Dang. I’ll probably never know.

  7. Brent says:

    James Bone. Ha.
