A Box of Color

My website was malfunctioning this morning, so I couldn’t post from home. My school computer won’t communicate with my camera, so I’ll have to wait until later to put pictures on this post. Sorry, everybody.

When I got home yesterday, there was a box next to my mailbox – a box from Beth’s sister-in-law Tammy. What could possibly be inside? I opened it, and it was full of colorful yarn balls – beautiful, colorful yarn balls! I liked them so much, I just sat and looked at them for a while. She does these wonderful yarn projects and must’ve had some left-over yarn.

HAHAHA! I just went to look at Lauren’s post about Tammy’s project and I see why Tammy sent me a box of brightly-colored yarn balls: because I said I liked them. Awesome, Tammy! Well played.

Colorful Happiness

I did give Max a chance to play with one yesterday, but now that I see Tammy sent these for me and not for Max, I won’t be sharing them with him. For now, I’ll keep them in a vase by my kitchen sink so I can admire their colorful beauty every single day. Thanks, Tammy!

It makes the window sill cheery even at dusk.

And as an added bonus, as I was trying to take a picture of Max playing with the yarn, he yawned! It’s still kind of a little blurry, but it’s a full-on picture of a yawn. Ha!

And I-I-I-I will always love yoooooou...

I just know that the beautiful pictures you put into my mind will not be more beautiful than the ones we’ll see tomorrow. We’ll all just need to wait for the yarn and the yawn and be content with mind pic’s all day long. 🙂

“Yarn and Yawn”! Dang it! That’s what I should have used for a title. I’ll be able to do the pictures today, but not until the afternoon when I go home.

Hehe to you both! That also sounds like a good title for a country song …… sung, or is it sang, with the right southern twang, or is it drawl.

And may I just comment for no particular reason that I really like cash; green, crisp, cold, cash.

I have to say I’ve never made yarn balls for anyone before -it was acutally quite fun picking out the colors from my stash (I do mean STASH). I’m glad they brightened your day.

      Agreed! Your caption is hilarious!!

That is the perfect vessel for those yarn balls, and it is surprising how truly cheerful they are! Yarn – whodathunkit?
