I had planned to do lots of grading yesterday, but I woke up covered in sweat. I was sick. I went to church, thinking I would feel good enough to do some grading afterward. I didn’t. In fact, I felt more feverish. Ugh. My dad is sick right now. Maybe I’m having sympathy sickness or something. Get better, Dad!
Anyway, I spent the day alternating between my bed and the living room floor. I drank lots of water, but I had lost my sense of taste, so I didn’t eat much. Here’s hoping I’ll feel better today.
I have posted pictures of my bed and of my living room floor spot, so instead, here’s a picture of a baby gecko that died in my closet and dried into a tiny dinosaur mummy.
OH my goodness!! I was not expecting that photo at the end. I sure hope you don’t have what he had.
Feel better today, Mr. Royuk. 🙁
Yea…what she said! I don’t think you’d make a very good mummified teacher…poor gecko 🙁
Dip that little guy in chocolate & you’ll have yourself a nice, homemade protein bar.
Feel better soon!
Bleh. But hilarious!
I hope both you and your dad are feeling better by the time you read this!! I Love You Both Very Much!! Aunt Bev 🙂
I hope you feel better soon. Poor baby gecko…
I have some “Brad” banana trees coming up in my garden. I wonder how many there will be this year. Grandson Luke and I have been listening to some Raffi songs when we are in the car. one of the songs he sings is the “Day-o” Banana song. It always makes me think of you and my banana trees. Everywhere I look in my garden I see your “cast away” plants. 🙂
