Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Trapping

I have mice. Unfortunately, Gus is not a very good mouser yet. He’s still very wobbly on his legs. In fact, that’s his nickname right now: Wobbly. He’s getting more steady as time goes on, but until then, I’ve put out mouse traps.

I caught one of the mice, but the other one is eluding me. I usually use peanut butter on mouse traps. The trap in the kitchen has been licked clean. It must be a crafty little fellow.

The mouse comes out from behind the stove.

Sorry about your mouse situation. Those traps won’t get Wobbly Gus, will they? (Or do you use the more formal ‘Gus the Wobbly’?)

The traps won’t get Wobbly. He can’t jump up to the counter top yet, and the other trap is hidden in a narrow space only big enough for a mouse.

I had trouble with peanut butter getting licked off. So I put peanut butter on cheese on the trap and that worked.

Hehe….that mouse must be a relative of Jerry’s.

Wanna call Rentacat? We have several spares here, as you know, two of which are proven rodent killers. Just say the word…
