Tub Licker

Whenever I shower, Gus likes to be in the bathroom with me. During the whole time I’m in the shower, Gus meows. It’s funny, because he’s so quiet I often don’t hear him and when I peek out, all I see is his mouth opening with no sound.

After the shower, it seems like he’s sad to be separated from me, so I lift him into the tub. He immediately starts licking the water. Mmm… tub water…

He looks bluish-grey against the white of the tub.

He licks until I leave the bathroom. Then he follows me.

This isn’t the only post I’ve written with this title. HERE is the other one.

Awww… he likes the drips. Wally likes the drips, too.

Maybe his meow is pitched too high for human ears. Do dogs start barking when you shower?

My dog always sits on the rug in the bathroom when I’m in the shower. He never barks, howls, or groans. I like to think that he’s there for my shower concert!

And I hope there are no dyslexic people reading today’s post. Tub backwards may be a little offensive…..or hilarious.

[Watch out, Gus – you’ve got that raw Thanksgiving turkey look in the second snapshot….]

Our Binx has taken a liking to dripping water from faucets and will follow me to the vanity sink in my bathroom so he can bat at or even stick his whole head under the drips when I wash and brush. Cats sure are funny people.

That’s where you should take the pictures of items that you’re going to sell on eBay. It’s like one of those things that you can pay money for whose name I can’t think of right now to make the backdrop of your shots look all professionally.
