Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Teacher Brad

I will be teaching again this fall! I have been offered and accepted a position at a Lutheran school here in the Baltimore area. It’s in Catonsville, which is south and west of Baltimore.

I have really enjoyed my job at the animal hospital. It has been an amazing experience. I’ve learned a ton of new stuff and I’ve met so many wonderful people, but I have really missed teaching. I love working with kids and I love talking about Jesus – I will get to do both at my new job. I will be at my animal hospital job until August 10, then I’ll be prepping for school full time.

I will be teaching 7th Religion, 6-8 Literature, and Computers to all ages. I am very excited. I’ll get to do some right brain stuff and some left brain stuff.

My classroom is having the carpet removed and tile put in, so I can’t move in yet, but I have a whole bunch of books to read now. I have to read books as my job! It’s glorious!

There are better angles to take pictures from, but I was on foot, so I had to do this angle.

…and once they see your prowess with art (e.g., grade A bulletin boards) I bet you’ll be tapped for that as well. Yea, God!! Can’t wait to hear about your new kiddos and colleagues…and to see you at conferences again…and stuff…

Congrats, dear friend. Praising God with you – it was all in His time.

Hallelujah! The Lord has used your talents in many places, and I am glad that you had such a great experience at the animal hospital. I’m so happy you will be back in the classroom, though! You are a teacher through and through, so this is such a great fit!
