Fulfilling a Craving

I have been thinking a lot lately about making a fire and toasting marshmallows. Yesterday I finally did it. I decided that maybe I should also have hot dogs. I don’t have anything against an all-marshmallow dinner, but I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to have fire-blackened hot dogs. Mmm…

Instead of my usual messing around with garden clippings and small branches and stuff, I got serious about getting some logs burning. It was an excellent choice. The logs made great embers. My hot dogs were delicious. My toasted marshmallows were even deliciouser.

It was a little warm for sitting by a fire, but I still liked it.

…and a wise camper always sets his bucket of water for extinguishing the fire close by. Nice job there. (Calms parental nerves as well, I would imagine…)

The view in this shot implies you are wearing boots partially covered by those pants – this looks quite campfire-like, cowboy. Where’s the git-arr playin’ cowpoke to set the rest of the mood?

Ahhh…… fire……. it makes everything deliciouser! (That is now my new favorite word.)

Where did you get your firewood?

Smokey likes that you have a bucket of water handy. When Laruen makes a fire the prefered amount of water to have handy is 1 lake.
