I got some new glasses. I have been seeing a lot of retro frames lately. Apparently, they’re fashionable among millennials who dress in the Hipster style. I don’t know about that, but these glasses remind me of Grandpa Hummel, who wore Grandma Hummel’s glasses sometimes. They were cheap online, so I thought: Why the heck not? and I got them.
I could blend right in with 27-year-olds, right?

I think buying glasses online is such a good idea, but I am nervous to try. I only did it once and I think I messed up the pupil distance thing.
I had my pupillary distance measured by an optician at a glasses place. It was a little uncomfortable, because when you do that, they know exactly why you’re asking – you’re going to buy some glasses from someone else. But once you do it, you’ll never have to ask again. Your pupillary distance never changes. Unless your skull changes shape.
