Spider Man

Yesterday was a fun Halloween. I wore my pumpkin tie that Cindy made for me all those years ago. I also wore the spider pin Brent gave to me. It’s a not-to-scale brown recluse. It looks amazingly realistic. When I wear it, I like to pin it high on my shirt so it’s almost on my shoulder.

Creepy.

Creepy.

I got a lot of great responses to it. My favorite thing to do was when a student would say, “You have a spider on you!” I would pat the front of my shirt and say, “Where? What are you talking about?” Ha! I crack myself up!

Glad you can again embrace those moments. I fondly recall both the spider and the tie…..

[I wore all my Hallowe’en-ish regalia Thursday – pumpkin-and-leaves vest, orange T, striped socks with black cat at cuffs – on Thursday as Friday was Spirit Day to wrap up Homecoming week. (Red, white and grey don’t exactly say “Hallowe’en” but that might just be me.) Had to point it out to most students, though. Guess it was too subtle….]

Kudos to you for being able to pin that spider on your shirt. I’d faint dead away. It’s soooooo creepy! (Wonderfully creepy, though.)

(^_^) <3 It!!! It's Nice To Do These Things That "Treat" Your Students….Then They Know You Relate To Them!!! I always dressed & "accessorized" for the season. The kids were disappointed if I didn't. (Some would come by my desk just to see me and what I wore. Some were "marred" for life that day that I was naked!!! (^_^) <3 Aunt Bev (ICYDK….I'm just kidding about the naked)
