When I was sick, I decided I would try to “take my foot off the accelerator”, and spend a little less time at school. My plan is to get in earlier and leave earlier. Yesterday was the first day I was able to accomplish that. It was wonderful.
Because of an accident on the beltway, it still took me over an hour to get home, but once I was there, I actually had a few minutes of daylight! Since all the leaves in a twelve block radius have blown into my pond, I decided to strain out as many as I could before it got dark. It was a delightful day to do it because it was crazy warm yesterday… upper seventies!

Good for you! I am glad that you are taking care of yourself. You were literally burning the candle at both ends.
Thought of you as we were traveling the opposite way on the beltway at 3:00. I almost sent you a text about the crazy backup, but decided you probably check you phone for traffic updates before you leave school. I’m glad you got home with some daylight left. It was beautiful outside yesterday.
