Driving Soundtrack

First of all, I have to say Happy Belated Birthday to Peggy. It was yesterday. I didn’t remember. Sorry, Peggy.

I got a car wash a couple of days ago. I didn’t realize it right away, but while I was in the carwash, my radio antenna broke off. It didn’t come unscrewed. It broke.

See the broken part inside?

Without an antenna, I can’t listen to the radio, so I’ve been listening to CDs. Or to be more precise, I’ve been listing to a CD. It’s the soundtrack to “The Grand Budapest Hotel”. I saw the movie a few weeks ago and liked it. I also liked the soundtrack, so I bought the CD. Listening to the soundtrack over and over has made me like the movie even more. I will have to watch it again soon.

I like the soundtrack because it’s like the movie: quirky and energetic. I like the entire thing, but here are a couple of tracks I like:
Track #3 Mr. Moustafa
Track #13 Night Train to Nebelsbad

Is this where we all shake our fists at the car wash sign that has the fine print about no taking responsibility for things lost, stolen, broken, mangled, ruined, etc., in the process of having your vehicle cleaned?

Whenever you are ready to get a new truck, see if you can get a model that has the antenna built into the glass of one of the side windows, as my Subaru has. Amazing invention, that. No more car wash disasters.

    Happy belated Birthday, Peggy!

Can you use half a potato to get the broken piece out, like with a broken light bulb? If not, could you use half a potato as an antennae?

    Happy birthday, Peggy!
