Pooped

I came out to my truck after school on Monday, and it was covered with bird poop. Dark, crumbly bird poop. In the morning, there was nothing there. In the afternoon, a TON. Ugh. I don’t remember seeing an unusual number of birds outside on Monday. The last time I saw such an big concentration of poop, it was from robins at my house.

It was too dark for me to take a picture on Monday, so I took one yesterday after school. My plan to leave school early has been unraveling lately because the quarter ended, and there is a lot of new unit planning to do.

People on the internet have been posting pictures of huge flocks of birds gathered in their yards/near their work. Looks like one of those visited your school. Looks like it’s time for yet another car wash. Sorry.

I, for one, welcome our new bird overlords.

Wait! Don’t wash your truck! You may have $600. worth of poo there:

[…seriously?…people do this?? … and PAY for it, no less?]

So, hope you’re saving that poop then, Mr. Royuk…yea…

I didn’t see the birds that soiled my truck, but I’m guessing they probably weren’t imported Asian nightingales. (Hmm… I didn’t know how to spell “nightingales”)

But they could have been. They could have escaped from the NY Spa.

(Honestly, I didn’t read enough of the article to see what kind of bird it was. I mean, isn’t it all the same really.)

Maybe it’s just one jerk bird.

          Great title, by the way.
