Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Broken Sparkly

Today will be a busy day. I give the message in church, then I will go to school for a grading marathon. I decided that yesterday I should have a little fun. I decided to go to the mall. I like walking amongst the people and looking at all the shiny and sparkly things that I won’t buy.

Speaking of shiny and sparkly, I finally remembered to take a Swarovski Christmas ornament along with me. It broke years ago, and I’ve always intended to get it fixed. There is a Swarovski store at the mall. I took the pieces there to ask if it could be repaired. They said yes. I asked how much it would cost. They said it was free! They do have to send it away to be repaired, but they said it wouldn’t take long at all and they’d give me a call when it was in. Woo hoo!

I put it in a plastic bag for safe keeping.

Hooray! I remember that crystal – did you have it hanging in your truck or a window? (Side note: One of our teachers was pulled over last week and got a warning for having an air freshener dangling from her mirror. Apparently it’s a distraction. Since when?)

I’m glad you had a day of fun, and good luck with your busy day! More power to you!

I did have it in my truck. I have a different one now, but I still wanted to get this one fixed, because I love sparkly things.

YAY!! I should just send mine to you and have you do the same… I trust you taking it in way more than just sending it to an anonymous Swar person.
