We are watching “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” in class. Since it is a sustained use of the presenter, I decided to lower the blinds on my windows. More than one student asked me if they were new blinds. They have been there all year. Ha! It’s interesting how something can be right in front of you, but be invisible.
Ha! You could have them do one of those dumb baby shower games: blindfold them and list everything on the walls. The winner gets to take home their list.
Ha! “the winner gets to take home their list”
I’m glad that you rarely put the blinds down. Natural light is so nice!
I love my big windows! It is always bright in my room. It’s almost enough to keep my S.A.D. away.
Glad you get to see Lewis’ movie again with your students – I recall how much you looked forward to showing it to our kiddos.
I got to view a PBS NOVA DVD on rebuilding Ground Zero after 9-11 today because I was covering the Life Skills class for a colleague attending a workshop off-campus. It was interesting – did you know they have a hook & ladder truck from that day as part of the museum 70′ below ground? – but it was no CS Lewis flick…
