Energy

On two separate days in two separate locations at school, I’ve found energy cards.

Pink and Black

Pink and Black

They’re Pokemon cards. I’ve been carrying them in my shirt pocket. When I feel tired during the day, I pull them out and pretend to “activate” them. I’m not really sure how Pokemon cards are properly activated. I did watch the Yu-Gi-Oh show for a few seasons. When he activated cards, it was very dramatic. I went looking for a scene to link to, and was not disappointed. HERE it is. I really liked that show. I was in my 30’s when it came out. Hehe…

Maybe they should be marketing these energy cards in the checkout line of the grocery store alongside the energy drinks. Kids who were 10 when Yu-Gi-Oh came out are 24 now. They might be interested, right?

I’ll ask a few of my 6th grade advisees about those cards, as they bring their sets in regularly and “play” with them. I also have no clue what that’s all about..but, then, I’m old and am just shocked people still play with any sort of real “cards” (vs. virtual ones) any more.

…and if they’d really work, I’d say market them in teacher stores about this time of year; they’d make a mint, no?

Ha! That would also make a great tattoo: an ‘energy’ button on your forearm. Feeling drowsy? Activate!

Of course, that button would need to be connected to a coffee pot….

Good luck getting your card approved by the FDA.

My research shows that the black one is a Darkness Energy card & its weakness is the pink card. Might be why they were found at separate locations. It is valued between .99 cents & $1.00.

The pink card is a Fairy Energy Card. It is resistant to the Darkness Energy powers. It is valued between .99 cents & $5.49.

Of course if your activation gives you more energy…..you can’t put a price on that!
