Spot

One of my downstairs bathroom ceiling tiles had something dark on it. A closer look revealed that it was rust. I guess I’ve found a downside to having tin ceiling tiles in my drop ceiling grid.

I ordered a new tile last night.

I ordered a new tile last night.

I took the tile out to see what was going on. It looks like the drain of the bathtub has some kind of leak happening, and the water caused the tile to rust through the paint. I’ll have to figure out what’s going on and see if it’s something I can fix or something that requires a plumber.

    Well, that stinks. Good-bye, money.

That could be a selling feature for those panels, though. “Unsure if your plumbing is leak-free? Try Leak Alert today! The rusty patch shows it’s working!”

Um, I may have forgotten to turn off the italics.

        Nope. It’s all good.

I was worried that no one would have anything to say in the comments today, since it’s not a very exciting post. I’m glad you were able to give me three for the price of one.

      And now there’s four!

You have to give some of us “older folks” time to respond…..We don’t get up and at ’em very early you know…..(^_^) I enjoy your posts everyday…..Not sure what I can say sometimes as your posts and responses are usually “witty” Mine are “drab”……Sorry about your ceiling tile….Homeownership is sometimes trying to say the least. I’m so happy to be “renting” now……no “upkeep” worries and I’m lovin’ it!!! <3 ALL Of You!!!! Aunt Bev 🙂

So, white-out can’t cover that up? Do they even make white-out anymore?

How about white nail polish? Not that you’d have any.

It’s a powder-coated glossy white finish. I didn’t think I could cover it with something that wouldn’t show.
