I have already written about my camellia, but something is happening this year that hasn’t happened before. Instead of just getting two or three flowers and then all the buds freezing off and falling to the ground, my camellia bush has been able to open almost all its buds. It has been absolutely covered with flowers.
I don’t know when we’re due for a hard frost, but for now it looks like I’ll continue to have beautiful pink blooms to cheer the path of passers-by.
Even the ground is pretty… so many petals.

You have gorgeous flowers in December?? That is crazy. Crazy, but beautiful. The colors in that second photo make it look like late summer.
