The Lighting of the Porch

I got my Christmas lights hung this past weekend. I came home yesterday right as it was getting dark. My porch light timer hadn’t switched on yet, but the Christmas light photo-sensor did turn on the Christmas lights. The result was a kind of dark porch that was also sparkly.

Pretty.

Pretty.

I haven’t gotten out any other Christmas decorations. Weekend time has been tight lately. It only looks like it’ll be getting tighter. I’ve been invited by two students to their church Christmas programs. I also have my own church activities. It looks like the Christmas tree may not be going up this year.

You porch looks lovely! If you had to choose between inside and outside decorations, this is great. People who decorate with lights are the best, because they’re sharing some Christmas spirit with everyone around them.

The neighbors around here have lights up – across the street they put in one of those yard lights that sprinkles laser dots on your house.

Beautiful!!! My new home is looking like Christmas, too. I really like it here and my old “familiar” decorations are still lovely after many, many years!!! Some Are Well Over 50 Years Old!! (Didn’t have room for all of them, though 🙁 ) Blessings On Your Day!! Aunt Bev 🙂
