Yesterday was a delightful birthday. Every Monday, we have an assembly in the morning and the birthdays for the week are announced. You get a button to wear that says “Happy Birthday” on your actual birthday, so I went up to the front and got my button and put it on.
The staff at my school draws each other’s names and brings in a treat on each other’s birthday. My person was Laura, and she made me Rice Krispie treats. Mmmm…
Kids were wishing me “Happy Birthday” all day long. It was awesome.
At the end of the day, Laura gave me leftover Rice Krispie treats. I took them home in the Superman bag Denis gave me for my birthday. It’s my new lunch bag 🙂
I think my lunch for today is already packed…
