Because I drove to Nebraska this past summer, I could bring a bunch of stuff back. One of the things I brought back was a piece of yard art from the yard sale of the Child Development Center in Seward. Lloyd and Lauren gave it to me. It’s a cross made out of metal.
I couldn’t decide where to put it for a long time, but I’ve finally decided. I put it right next to my bird feeder. There are two reasons it’s a good spot: I will be able to see it whenever I stand at my kitchen sink and look out the window, and the birds like to sit on it while they’re chewing on their birdseed. Awesome!

The fence as a background makes it hard to see the cross, but it’s really cool.
That is the perfect spot! You can think of Lloyd every time you see it – he saved that for you. 🙂
Maybe some of those birds will become Lutheran chicks.

I looked at this first on my phone and didn’t see the cross at ALL. ha Now I see it, HOW cool!! Hey, nice bird feeder! Kinda looks like ours!
