A New Tactic

I’ve written about the pink residue on my bathtub before. I’d look for the post and link to it, but I’m typing in a hurry today. My bathtub is currently nice and clean, and I’d like to keep it that way. I would normally just go for a super strong and most likely very poisonous bathtub cleaner, but my bathtub has the refinishing enamel on it, and the instructions say to never use any strong cleaners on it. Dang.

Instead, I am wiping off the water each time after I shower. So far, I’ve been keeping up with it, even on days I’m tired or in a hurry. And so far, the bathtub has continued to look clean. Will I be able to keep this up, especially through the dark days of winter?

No pink stuff!

No pink stuff!

Wow! I am impressed with your dedication! I didn’t post pictures of the actual cat bath on my site because of the shameful state of the tub.

Let’s have a chant: Go, Bra-ad! Keep your tub clean! Go, Bra-ad! Keep your tub clean!

Don’t shower. How bad could it get?

    Have you tried peroxide?

My late aunt was a fastidious shower-drier-after-er and their shower never got green, fuzzy, pink, or any other color growing in it. So bravo to you thus far.

Shall I make you a sign like you did for our work room (only this one wouldn’t have a velocaraptor – however that should be spelled – on it):

“ONLY —- DAYS SINCE PINK STUFF GREW HERE!”

Could motivate you to keep drying – wuddaya think?
