Four Eyes

Having recently been to the optometrist, I ordered some glasses. Total price: $40. Woo hoo!

I didn’t need to get new glasses, because my prescription hasn’t changed, but it was a good excuse to get something different. Besides, I needed to get new round glasses, since my old ones are two prescriptions old. Some people call them Harry Potter glasses, but that’s getting to be an old book, and more and more of my students don’t know who Harry Potter is.

They are a little bigger than my last round glasses were.

I also wanted to get something new and unusual for me. I decided on some glasses that are a traditional shape, but are made of clear plastic. The website said something-something-hipster, but I think hipsters are getting to be old people, so I can wear their stuff now, since I’m also old.

The temple pieces are a little short, so they're not entirely comfortable.

Your students don’t know Harry Potter? Wow – time is flying by.

And $40 for the pair? You have a great eye place and eye plan.

    Oh, nice glasses. Both pairs.

My eye place is Walmart. The exam was $80 I think.

I got the glasses from zenni.com for $40

Kristi said it – they don’t know Harry Potter? What is going on??

How fun that you have two Clark Kent options. I totally don’t recognize you in either pair. 😉

Wow – what different looks! The new will take come getting used to on my part. [What have the kids said about the “old person” frames?]
