Autumn Smellories

Yesterday afternoon, one of my classes had a few minutes left over before the period ended, so we went outside for a little fresh air. It was beautiful. The sun was shining, the air was cool, and the fall leaves were blowing in the wind.

Some of the kids were playing in the leaves. As I stood and watched, I could smell the leaves. Mmm… it is such a memory-laden scent.

Bright Autumn sun.

Good for you ! I am all in favor of children being outside as much as possible. In autumn, doubly so. 🙂

Ahhh! That’s great! I am trying to smell through the computer! I woke up to the smell of sugar cane burning!
