Pince-nez

When I posted about the dogs in my desk drawer, Lauren asked about the metal rectangle that was showing in the picture. They’re reading glasses!

So thin and portable...

So thin and portable…

Not only that, they’re pince-nez reading glasses!

Indubitably!

Indubitably!

I don’t need reading glasses for every day use, but there are times when I need to look closely at a hangnail or tiny screw, and the reading glasses help. Plus, they make me look professory.

Those. Are. AMAZING!! That is perhaps THE coolest thing I’ve ever seen! Far, far cooler than bifocals. Where did you get them?

    Thank you! 😀

    Indubitably, I’m sure!

AWESOME!!!! I wear mine on a “pretty” chain around my neck, so they are ALWAYS with me!!! 🙂

That’s all you’d need for a complete disguise.

Since I no longer need the gross – er – ton – uh – plethora of reading glasses I used in school, let me know if you ever want to choose a few for yourself. Admittedly, they don’t have the “professor-y” look about them your pince nez have, but they served me well for years, and what better way to embark on the downhill slide from the middle years into genuine aging than by sporting the glasses-on-a-string-around-the-neck look?
