It was a terrific Tennessee Thanksgiving.
First, I slept in as long as I could. It was amazing. I slept so well. In the morning, I went out with Debbie to feed their chickens. I thought it was going to be cold, so I put on my jacket and hat. Neubert posed with me for a picture. Ha!
Thanksgiving dinner was delicious! We had fun trying to take a group picture. Mark had trouble backing up far enough, and then he took a million shots.
After eating, we sat and talked for a while, then Mark took us out to his ‘lab’ where he gets metals out of old computer components. It was fascinating.
Later in the evening, Mark and I were talking about tv shows, and I mentioned a show about guys hunting meteorites. Mark not only knew the show, he’s been on it! Not only that, he found a meteorite! He let me hold it.
What a great day!
Your title is brilliant!
It seems like it was a great day, but having to dress so formally for chicken feeding seems a bit intimidating. Very ‘Downton Abbey’.
Hello, Tennessee friends! Have a Fantastic Friday!
P.S. I love Mark’s lab!
What a great fun day!!! A tradition has started now you know!
